As the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 16th Annual Crab Feed on Friday, March 6, 2009, we are announcing, for the first time, a grant program to benefit non-profit organizations funded by proceeds from the event.
The Chamber of Commerce's mission is to support and enhance business within the City of Milpitas, including non-profit organizations. Being a non-profit business itself, the Chamber understands that assistance, now more than ever, is needed in this sector.
All 501(c) 3 organizations are encouraged to contact the Chamber of Commerce at 262-2613 or visit this link to receive a grant application. Interested parties will be asked to provide information about their organization, reasons for requesting the grant and specific programs the monies will be used to support. Available funds equal 10% of the events profits, which may be divided to meet the needs of more than one organization.
