New Director Joins Falcon Learning

Even though most of you have already had the chance to meet her, I am excited to introduce Falcon Learning’s new director, Christine Rosell (on the left with me in the photo). Christine comes to us with years of experience at after-school centers and in classrooms in California and Utah. She is full of energy and ready to take on this role

You can talk to her about any needs you have, just as you would talk to me. As the owners of Falcon Learning, my husband, Rajesh, and I will still be involved and will be here – just not every day. I have enjoyed getting to know your children and will certainly visit them often, though I might not be here at pick-up time as much.

Thank you for your continued support of Falcon Learning. A special thanks to those of you who have written Yelp reviews for us. For those of you who haven’t, we are still offering $10 Amazon.com gift cards for Yelp reviews and even bigger rewards (10%) for getting someone else to enroll in our after-school program or a day camp.

Miss Rosell Has Passion for Education

My name is Christine Rosell, and I am from San Jose, California. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had a strong passion for education. I’ve enjoyed my educational experiences at Brigham Young University where I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. The opportunities I’ve had working at both private schools in the Bay Area and charter schools in Utah have added to my desire to make a difference in the lives of children. My experiences in various classrooms have encouraged me to want to further my education one day to attend law school to study educational law.

Ultimately, I would like to be a lawyer for a school district dealing with issues such as school governance and special education. I know the education I received and the opportunity as Director at Falcon Learning will help prepare me to improve the education of our future students.

Children loved the LEGO® Camp at Falcon Learning during Winter Break, Dec. 29-31, 2014. They spent three afternoons building houses, bridges, and several vehicles. They learned some pre-engineering and raced their motorized LEGO® vehicles. They also took part in crash tests to learn about sound building practices.
